While the Executive Committee is the overarching Committee responsible for the organisation, we operate are 3 sub-committees to focus on the "doing".

The organisations Strategic Plan is divided into 4 sections - one for the Executive Committee and the one each for the 3 Sub-Committees.

Strategic initiatives identified on the plan are allocated to a Sub-Committee to research, prepare, present and then drive the initiative up into the Executive Committee for endorsement.

Members of each Sub-Committee are identified at the Induction Day held in August each year.

This structure allows our Executive team to concentrate on the strategic focus of the Association, without getting bogged down in detail.

Each committee operates under a Terms of Reference document which establishes:

  • the purpose of the Committee
  • the roles and responsibilities of that Committee
  • what, if any, authority each committee has.

This structure is designed to allow operational matters to be dealt with efficiently and effectively, while also providing clear guidelines on permissions.

Members are able to view all Terms of Reference here >
