Wellington Regional Meeting
Join our Wellington Bookkeepers for an in person catchup with guest Leaine Jones from Smart Bookies.
Offboarding clients
Do you have a clearly documented process when exiting a client? In a recent Smart Bookies Forum there was mostly No’s! Bottom line is you should – there are some ethical and legal obligations to consider.
Offboarding is equally as important as the onboarding - you want to remain professional in case this client returns to you; while also having a structured process in place to manage the client exit. Taking care that all the steps are done properly is key – you should be able to bump into them a year later and have a friendly chat!
Our October meeting guest is long-time ICNZB member Leaine Jones, founder of Jones Business Solutions and Smart Books.
Leaine will take you through her recommended process with offboarding clients – and what are the key actions needed.
Leaine has managed her bookkeeping business for 16 years, is an award winning bookkeeper, a Tax Agent, and via Smart Books regularly delivers training for Best Practice Bookkeeping.
The Venue is BNZ Centre, Level 2, Westfield Tower, 45 Knights Road, Lower Hutt and is opposite the Countdown Carpark, the meeting will be held in the Tatau Katoa Boardroom.
Our Regional Meetings in Wellington are facilitated by Lisa Pallister, ICNZB Certified Bookkeeper and Director at Evolution Accounts.
